We're a small team doing big things in music marketing. If you're driven, adaptable, and ready to work with the industry's best — we want to hear from you.
Digital Strategist
The Pitch
Do you want to work on massive festivals, alongside Grammy-winning artists and cutting-edge brands, but hate the traditional corporate grind?
Soundwave Consulting is a high-performance, boutique agency delivering premium, industry-defining results—without the micromanagement. We are looking for a driven, highly organized operational specialist to help us execute digital marketing campaigns and keep our operations running smoothly.
The Opportunity (The Dual Track)
We believe in rewarding talent based on impact, not just tenure. We're hiring for this role with two potential paths:
The Core Role
We need an operational powerhouse who can build campaigns, manage assets, hit deadlines, and keep our clients happy. If you are highly organized and looking to learn, grow, and build your resume in the music and live events space, this is the perfect starting point.
The Prodigy Track
You've already run campaigns at scale — you know Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and analytics inside-out. Now you want a seat at the table. We're looking for a proven operator who can take true ownership of major accounts, lead client strategy, and help steer the business. You'll have a real voice and the opportunity to share in the upside.
What You'll Do
8 areas
- Digital Advertising: Build, launch, optimize, and report on ad campaigns across Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and other platforms. You'll manage real budgets for real clients — not theoretical exercises.
- Analytics & Tracking: Set up and maintain conversion tracking infrastructure — Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Conversions API (CAPI), UTM frameworks — so campaigns are measured accurately and clients see clear ROI.
- Email Marketing: Build and manage email campaigns, automations, and audience segments (Mailchimp and similar platforms).
- Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage content across client social channels. You'll be the voice behind some of the biggest names in live music.
- Client Reporting & Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients. Build and deliver performance reports using Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or similar tools. No one should have to ask you for an update.
- Project Coordination: Keep campaigns, deliverables, and timelines organized across multiple clients simultaneously. We move fast — you need to keep pace.
- Creative Support: Coordinate and occasionally produce marketing assets — ad creative, social graphics, short-form video edits. You don't need to be a designer, but you shouldn't be afraid of Canva, Photoshop, or a video editor.
- Web & E-Commerce Support: Make updates to client websites and e-commerce stores (Shopify, WordPress). Basic HTML/CSS literacy is a plus, not a requirement — willingness to learn is.
What We're Looking For
6 traits
- Internet-Native & Resourceful: You grew up on the internet. You know how to find a solution by Googling, clicking, and figuring it out. You use AI tools as a daily accelerant, not a novelty. If you don't know how to do something, your first instinct is to learn — not to ask.
- Familiar With the Platforms: You should already know your way around Meta Business Suite and Google Ads. You don't need to be an expert, but "I've never opened Ads Manager" is a dealbreaker.
- Hyper-Organized: You thrive on systems, checklists, and spreadsheets. Google Sheets is second nature. You keep projects moving without being told to.
- Excellent Communicator: You write clearly, respond promptly, and keep clients and teammates informed without being asked. Professional but not corporate — our clients are artists and festival producers, not Fortune 500 boardrooms.
- Autonomous & Self-Directed: You don't need (or want) a micromanager. You take direction, internalize the goal, and run with it independently.
- Hungry: This is the big one. You are feverishly driven to produce more, deliver more, and advance. You treat client wins as your own wins. Complacency is not in your vocabulary.
Why Soundwave?
4 reasons
- Unrivaled Flexibility: We don't care when or where you work, as long as the work is excellent, clients are happy, and deadlines are met. Quality of life is paramount here.
- Exceptional Projects: You aren't marketing B2B accounting software; you're working with elite talent in the music, festival, and entertainment industry.
- Real Ownership: You aren't a cog in a machine. Your ideas matter, and your impact will be recognized and rewarded.
- Modern Toolkit: We leverage AI, automation, and cutting-edge infrastructure to punch way above our weight class. You'll learn more here in six months than most agencies teach in two years.
